CinemaSF is thrilled to announce a new partnership!
After 3 and a half years of countless hours and tireless effort by the all-volunteer nonprofit The Park Theater Trust (TPTT), the East Bay community of Lafayette is about to be reunited with the historic downtown Park Theater! TPTT has successfully closed escrow and now owns the theater on behalf of the entire Lafayette community, and they have tapped CinemaSF as the theater operators!
The Park Theater will be CinemaSF’s first foray into the East Bay and will offer first-run art and indie films, Hollywood classics, live music, and a wide range of the alternative programming you’ve come to expect from CinemaSF. The sale closed on December 16 and now the Trust is ramping up its community-wide fundraising to bring in the $5mm needed for the renovation.
